Launching her career at a premier national agency, Almira spent many years abroad heading up global PR for Cobra Beer, one of the UK’s fastest-growing beer brands. She also drove corporate public relations and communications campaigns for top brands in Australia and South Africa.
Almira co-founded Jive PR + Digital, an award-winning, top public relations firm specializing in media relations and social media marketing services with offices in Vancouver, Toronto, and Los Angeles. After exiting the business in 2018, Almira now works with high level brands, C-Suite executives and entrepreneurs, building their business and personal brand, magnifying their brand impact and take their businesses to new heights.
With an enviable network of influencers and a storied career, her expertise lies in developing integrated, brand-building communication strategies that deliver strategic, massive results.
Almira is also an ICF Certified Coach, and works globally with female entrepreneurs, to grow and scale their companies and visibility.
She also consults with and mentors local and global organizations, including the Aga Khan Foundation, Brands for Better, SFU Beedie School of Business and Forum for Women Entrepreneurs (FWE).
